Eli has been busy the past year directing commercials for American Express, Triscuit and GE and is currently directing a show for Travel Channel. Eli wrote, directed and produced the Discovery and Science Channel specials Dream Science Classroom and Coolest Science Museums and directed & produced the Discovery series, Building America’s Home. Eli worked with Elle Decor Magazine, directing & producing the Discovery specials, Elle Deco: Behind The Design, and has directed several episodes of MTV’s Room Raiders and The Science Channel’s FIRST Robotics competition. Eli directed the feature film F**k The Disabled starring Greg Walloch, Stephen Baldwin and Anne Meara and the cult favorite, A Hole In The Head, and his documentary, Try to Remember: The Fantasticks, is presently available on DVD from Zeitgeist Films. Eli has directed and produced national commercials for KFC, Kraft, Cingular and Long John Silver’s and over forty spots for the Pepsi Challenge campaign and PSAs for Autism Speaks and the Coalition for the Homeless. Eli's commercials for CBS' Opie & Anthony show were named Advertising Age's Spots of the Week. Eli co-produced Robert Wuhl's HBO special, Assume The Position 201 and executive produced Relax, It's Just Sex, starring Jennifer Tilly, Lori Petty and Cynda Williams, produced Paranoia, starring Larry Drake, Brigitte Bako and Sally Kirkland and was the Associate Producer on the Miramax Films release, Lie Down With Dogs. A graduate of The Johns Hopkins University, Eli was an all-conference place kicker and played semi-professional football for three years while attending the University of Maryland School of Law.
